Have You Heard Of? | Jam Labelizer
A while ago I posted about the Beer Labelizer, well now there’s a Jam labelizer! There are 5 different types of labels all with different styles, including two that you can add a photo to! I love the designs so much I want to make jam just to print these labels off!

Christmas Craft Gift Round Up!

Day 2: Yum Yum! - Sweet Food Gifts

Giving the gift of food is always appreciated. There’s nothing like a sweet treat on Christmas day (because there’s never enough food is there?!) or a ‘bake it later’ jar is perfect pantry gift. I’ve collected my favourite foodie gifts for y’all - I’m pretty sure I’ll be cooking a giant batch of fudge for my friends - it is seriously so easy to make and it goes in about 2 seconds.

Top Row, L-R:

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bread | Sunset
‘In a jar’ gifts are great for your cupboard. Especially when you have a craving and you need something right now. If Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bread isn’t something you think your friends/family would like, do a quick Google search for ‘Cookies In A Jar’ and you’ll be overwhelmed!

Homemade Butter | A Lemon Squeezy Home
There is nothing like home made butter. And seriously, how much butter do you go through during the holidays!? There’s butter on toast, butter on bread rolls, butter in food, butter on butter…

Carbon Dulce | Diamonds For Dessert
Have any friends or family who deserve a little coal this year?! Or just want to play a prank? Carbon Dulce is Spanish for ‘Sweet Coal’ and has a almond flavour. Wrap in a plastic bag and add to a stocking!

Second Row, L-R

3 Minute Microwave Fudge | V & Co
Fudge can be really hard to make - not this stuff. It is the quickest & easiest fudge I have ever made and it’s never gone wrong! I have made this with just the plain chocolate and also added apricot and almonds. So delicious! Chop up, pop in some pretty boxes and you’ve got an easy bulk present!

Hot Chocolate Cones | Ruffled
Though these are meant to be for Wedding favours, what could be better than a hot chocolate cone in Winter? Smash up some candy canes and you’ve got a delicious chocolatey minty drink!

Pancakes In A Jar | Good Life Eats
Another In A Jar recipe, this time for pancakes. I’m going to make one of these for my mum who always has cravings for pancakes but doesn’t have the items in the cupboard!

Hope you enjoyed today’s round up and found some inspiration for some quick and easy Christmas gifts!

Tomorrow: Gifts for mum!

Poppytalk has a cool Guest Tutorial by Ruth Bleakley:

This easy (I promise!) printmaking tutorial is a great way to use up styrofoam meat trays that you are probably hoarding (or maybe that’s just me…) and it would also be a fun craft for kids, as long as you did it outside.
It’s essential that you get water-based block printing ink (it costs about $3 a tube) - otherwise this tutorial goes from an “easy” to “the-reason-why-I-never-majored-in-Printmaking” tutorial because the cleanup is much more difficult for oil-based printmaking ink - that being said, if that’s what you have on hand, go for it - actually, if that’s what you have on hand, you are probably somewhat beyond styrofoam tray printing anyway!

The rest is here: poppytalk: DIY: Easy Relief Printmaking
Pretty impressive idea, to figure out something useful to do with Styrofoam meat trays! Maybe we can get Ruth Bleakley involved in The Uncollection. A Mr. Cart meat-tray print would be cool!

Braided Necklace | More Design Please
If I saw this kind of necklace in the shops I would love it, try to work out how to make it, and then give up and buy it! I adore the blue of this necklace along with the gold hardware, and once they broke down how to do this it actually seems really easy.

How To Transfer A Photo To Fabric | A Beautiful Mess
I can never find cool tshirts that don’t cost like, $50. The cheap ones are always ugly, with women’s faces and butterflies. Ew. I don’t want a woman’s face on my chest. Just saying. So finding out how to transfer images is fantastic! And this is without having to buy those super expensive iron on sheets… which I always ruin. This transfer is created using a medium gel. I like the idea of using vintage images too!

Scarf How To | Samantha Hahn

Samantha Hahn is one of my favourite illustrators. Her gorgeous designs combine digital media, ink and watercolour. I was having a trawl through her portfolio and found her ‘how to’ section with illustrations she’s done for different companies and magazines. I particularly like these two scarf how-to illustrations she’s done. Click on the pic to see more!
